Your Pelvic Health Matters

Experiencing pelvic floor issues like incontinence or prolapse? We can help—at any age or stage of life. Your pelvic floor plays a vital role in your well-being, often working quietly behind the scenes. However, significant life events—like puberty, pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and menopause—can place unique strains on these muscles. Each phase requires specialized care to keep your pelvic floor strong and functional. The good news? We can help restore balance and strength to your pelvic floor.

It's never too late (or too early!) to seek support.

Hi, I'm Sonali,

A Certified Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, Yoga Teacher, and Lactation Consultant. I help women reconnect with their pelvic floor to stay pain-free, leak-free, and strong through every milestone with optimized pelvic health.

As a mom of two, I experienced firsthand the disconnect with my body after giving birth in two different ways. I quickly realized the need for holistic, integrative care that supports women through every stage of life, which led me to create Birth Basix—a space where women can feel empowered and fully supported in their journey.

After this point, the recovery curve is generally similar, although some key differences remain. For instance, we guide C-section moms through abdominal scar massage and offer episiotomy scar release techniques for vaginal birth moms. We share videos with instructions for these.

Both C-section and vaginal birth moms may experience challenges connecting to their pelvic floor and core, so we make sure each participant has a clear understanding of how to rebuild these connections safely and effectively.
